Registration is open until February 6th- missed classes are not deducted from total price of the course, but recordings of the classes will be available
For the first time, I'm offering a course for adults who want to read music and better understand and apply music theory, but without too much theory lingo, in order to have more fun and feel more confident while playing and singing music individually and with others. No need to have an understanding of music theory previously. In these 10 weeks, I will break down musical concepts and answer your particular questions, practice sight-reading and give you tips and shortcuts to read music with confidence, train your ear to identify intervals and recognize them by sight, build the skills for improvisation, curiosity, and exploration while making music, and much more. The course will be taught from a piano/harp/vocal standpoint, but can apply to all instruments.
